Our Name: The Symbolism of "Rose Buds"

Why "Rose Buds"? A rosebud grows and blooms in its own time. We chose the name for every girl and woman learning about her body, finding what works for her, and growing more confident along the way. You don’t have to have it all figured out. We’re here to make feminine care easier to talk about, one honest conversation at a time.

Founder Story: The Rose Behind Rose Buds Naturals

When our founder was 14, she didn’t understand what was happening with her body. Everyday pads, pantyliners, washes, and soaps irritated her sensitive skin. She had questions, but didn’t feel like she had anyone to talk to. So she dealt with it quietly.

Rose Buds grew from the belief that no girl or woman should have to feel ashamed, confused, or alone when it comes to caring for her body.

With a background in biology and chemistry, our founder began making feminine care products and having the conversations she wished she’d had growing up. What started in her kitchen in 2021 has grown into a Bahamian brand available in local pharmacies and stores.
