What is the difference between Rosebuds Feminine Products & other Brands?

The difference between Rosebuds and the other brands is the gentle formulations. Our products do not contain toxic or harsh ingredients which can lessen irritation. All of Rosebud’s products are gentle, free from fragrances, dyes, sulfates, parabens, chlorine, wood pulp, and other toxic components.

What is the difference between Rosebuds Feminine Washes and a typical body wash?

Rosebuds feminine washes are specially formulated for the vaginal area and gentle on vaginal skin. They are suitable for use on the intimate area because of their mild properties and pH-balanced formulation. External use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

Is Rosebuds Feminine Wash pH-balanced?

Yes, it is!

What does “pH-balanced” mean?

The pH scale goes from 0 to 14. If something is acidic it is below 7. Anything above 7 is alkaline (or basic). Your skin’s pH (neutral) is not the same as the pH of your vagina (acidic). Rosebuds pH-balanced products are formulated to be in harmony with your vulva which is mildly acidic.

Why does the pH level of a Feminine Wash formula matter?

The vulva (the exterior or outside of the vagina) has an acidic pH of around 4 to 6. Most soaps have an alkaline pH of around 8 to 10 which can be harsh on vulva skin. Washes at the appropriate pH level will be the gentlest on the delicate skin of your vulva.

Do Rosebuds Feminine Washes have a fragrance?

No Rosebuds feminine washes do NOT contain fragrances. All formulas are tested to make sure they are safe for use on vulva skin. Our feminine washes are suitable for use on the intimate area and the skin.

How should I use Rosebuds Cleansing Wash?

Our cleansing wash is for external use only. Simply wet the area, pour a small amount of cleansing wash onto your hand or washcloth, apply and rinse.

May any of your products be used as a contraceptive?

No.

Are Rosebuds Boric Acid Suppository Safe?

Boric acid is a naturally occurring compound containing the elements boron, oxygen, and hydrogen. Boric acid most commonly originates in dried salt lake-beds of deserts or dry areas. Boric acid is a white powder that acts as a strong antiviral and anti-fungal agent in the body.

What can I use Boric Acid Suppositories for?

If you have Vaginal Odor, pH Imbalance, Yeast Infections or Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) boric suppositories are right for you. Research suggests boric acid interferes with the yeast’s natural life cycle, preventing it from growing to become infectious. Its strong antiviral and anti-fungal properties assist with restoring balance to the vagina.

How long can I use Boric Acid Suppositories?

No longer than 10-14 days per month.

How Often To Use Vaginal Suppositories

For Yeast: Insert twice per day for the first 3 days. Then, once (1) per day for the next 2-5 days.

For Odor & BV: Insert twice per day for the first day. Then, once (1) per day for the next 2-3 days.

For pH Imbalance & Regular Cleansing: Insert once (1) per day for 2-3 days.

How often can I use Rosebuds Refreshing Spray?

Rosebuds Freshening Spray is ideal for when you want a little extra freshness. The spray contains an ingredient that helps control odor and can be used at any time. Many women use it after the gym, sex while traveling, and throughout the day to maintain freshness. You can also use it before, during, and after your period when you need a little help staying fresh.

How should I use Rosebuds Cleansing Cloths?

Our cleansing cloths are for external use only. Simply remove a cloth from its foil packet, unfold and gently wipe from front to back. Use only once, and then throw away the used cloth. Do not flush! Cleansing Cloths are perfect for when you feel you need a little extra freshness. A lot of women use them during and after their periods or every day to help stay fresh. The cloths gently cleanse to remove odor-causing bacteria from the vaginal area.

Why use Vaginal Steaming Herbs?

Vaginal steams are said to relieve period pain, cleanse and heal. Some benefits include cleansing the womb of toxins, minimizing discharge, managing PH balance, improving menopause symptoms, improving vaginal dryness, helping hormonal balance, shrinking fibroids and cysts, increasing fertility & heals hemorrhoids.

When can I Vaginal Steam?

It is advised to steam at least once per month for cleansing. Some women steam after intercourse as a form of self-care and cleanse. Women should not steam while menstruating or with the use of an IUD. Women should also avoid steaming while pregnant. Postpartum is the perfect time to enjoy womb care and vaginal healing. After giving birth, the womb and the vagina are sore and in need of serious healing. Vaginal steams are also great for menopause. During menopause, women experience dryness and soreness to the vagina. Steaming restores moisture and aids in blood flow. All women can benefit from womb care.

Why are Rosebuds Feminine Pads, Pantyliners and Tampons better?

The traditional pads, liners and tampons are known to contain chemicals & irritants. Some irritants include fragrances, chlorine, pesticides, dyes and plastics. Rosebuds sanitary pads, liners and tampons do NOT contain toxic ingredients that cause irritation.

Our sanitary napkins are 100% cotton and are safe to use daily.

When should I visit my doctor?

It is important for females to get regular check-ups from their doctors. Feminine hygiene products should NOT replace a visit to your physician. Rosebud’s naturals products do NOT intend to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
